Description

This beautiful Thai-style Wreath is made of lovely fresh flowers and greenery. It is an excellent way to show (in public) your respect and/or thanks for the memory of a friend or loved one.

About Buddhist Wreaths - In Thai funerals (Buddhist), Wreaths are more traditional and more suitable than Flower Bouquets. Wreaths are typically large and circular, displayed prominently at the Wat (Temple).

Thai Funeral Duration & Process - Thai funerals (Buddhist) involve numerous stages and usually last a number of days (the total number of days can vary & perhaps only the final stages of the process will be at a temple). The body may be displayed for 3, 5, 7 or more "prayer days" (when monks chant in the evening), allowing friends and family to pay respects. The funeral ends on the cremation day, with a ceremony (often starting at 3pm or 4pm in the afternoon) where the body is cremated.

WREATH DELIVERY ADVICE:

  • Find Out the Funeral Place & Date – BEFORE YOU ORDER, it is best to ask the Funeral Organizer/Host …
    • Where will the Funeral take place? (Name & Location of the Wat (Temple), for example)
    • What Date will be best for the Wreath to be delivered?
  • EITHER ... Request Delivery to Funeral Place (the Wat/Temple, for example) in Pattaya OR ... Collect From Pattaya Shop – Usually, Wreaths are EITHER … (A) Delivered by Isan Flowers 2 directly to a Wat (Temple) or Church in Pattaya where the funeral is happening, OR … (B) Collected from our Pattaya shop by the customer.
    • This because in Thai people believe it is very bad luck to take/bring a Wreath into a House, Apartment or a Business Place.
    • Therefore, we strongly recommend that for Delivery you EITHER ... Give us a Wat (Temple) or Church location as the delivery address, OR ... Come to Collect from our Shop.
  • Delivery Time – Usually, the best Delivery Time for a Wreath to the Wat (Temple) is between 2pm-4pm in the afternoon on any of the prayer days (before the prayers & evening chanting start).
